Heiko was my best choice for this project. I do absolutely recommend him to the highest level. He is a trustworthy builder, working independent, speedy and efficient. Change order were always discussed and mutually agreed. Heiko enjoys 100% of my trust. I would contract with Heiko again at anytime without even consulting his competition.

My architect, Raymund Bouma, designed a house extension 2 years ago and recommended to involve Heiko Buechert in doing the actual work. I have never regretted this. First class quality in terms of materials and workmanship, good control over sub-suppliers, on budget, on time, neat, clean and with the least amount of fuss for my wife and I, who continued to live there whilst the construction was going on. Heiko Buechert did an excellent job with the renovations on my house in Stellenbosch. These included tiling, plumbing, paving, sanding and an extension of the living area. He oversaw the whole project whilst I was in Johannesburg. During the building period he kept me updated with progress reports and photographs. Everything was left in an immaculate condition once he was done and he attended to the few items on the snag list without any hesitation. The process was painless.

In 2006 Heiko Buechert handled the entire conversion of my single-storey house into a double storey and adding two garages. His craftsmanship, handling of workers and subcontractors, and generally being somebody I could depend on to translate a vision into reality, took much of the hassle out of renovating a property and turned it into a largely pleasurable experience.
